1. Membership Fees
Members fees will be $45 per year and be payable on or before the date of the 1st outing attended.
2. Outing Scoring System
In general, competitions will be scored on a standard Stableford point systems, and prizes will typically be awarded for :
* Overall Winner
* Back 9
* Front 9
* Category I (Playing Handicap of 20 or less)
* Category II (Playing Handicap > 20)
* Nearest the Pin
* Longest Drive
A player cannot win both overall winner and front or back 9 in the same outing.
Category I winner is the player with a Playing Handicap of 20 or less who scores the most Stableford points (excluding the overall winner and front 9 / back 9 winners).
Category II winner is the player with a Playing Handicap greater than 20 who scores the most Stableford points (excluding the overall winner and front 9 / back 9 winners).
In the case of a tie, the player with the most net albatros wins, if still a tie, the player with the most net eagles wins, if still a tie, the player with the most net birdies wins, etc...
Prizes will only be awarded to players who have paid their membership in full.
The main exception to this is the Railway Cup which is a team competition based on a team score stableford scoring, front and back 9 pairs match play and additional points awarded for nearest to the pin and longest drive.
For the GAA tournament, in addition to the prizes awarded above, the GAA trophy will be awarded to the player with the highest gross score.
3. Rules of Play
Players can take a mulligan on the first hole only. If a mulligan is taken, the player must play it on the second shot and can't go back to the initial tee shot
If the ball is at a distance equal to or less than the lenght of the metallic shaft of the player putter (i.e.:excluding grip), the player can take the ball (gimme) and add a shot to its score.
Players 65 years old and up can play from the Senior Tees. The player must inform the Captain when score card is returned.
Note that there are additionnal rules specific to COVID CUP
4. Player of the Year Competition
The player of the year thropy will be awarded to the player with the highest aggregate number of Stableford points for three (3) outings in the current year. The outings that qualify are single Stableford outings only, i.e. Cobweb Cup, Mulligans World Cup, Mulligans Masters, Captain's Day & GAA Golf Tournament.
In case of a tie, the player with the less outings played wins. If still a tie, the player with the highest aggregate number of Stableford points for two (2) outings wins. If still a tie, the player with the highest number of Stableford points at one (1) outings wins. If still a tie, Rock-Paper-Scissor competition will determine the winner.
The top 4 players in the player of year competition should play together in the final 4 ball of the final singles Stableford outing of the year.
5. Most Improved Player of the Year
The most improved player trophy will be awarded to the player who reduces the most his Handicap Index. In case of a tie, the Handicap Committee will determine the winner.
